1 Social Impact Initiatives

Partner of the Internship Program at Universidad del Norte

The Universidad del Norte Internship Program connects students with organizations by offering professional internship opportunities, including judicial clerkships.

2 Purpose-driven Donations

Contribution to the Explora Scholarship – School of Law, Political Science, and International Relations, Universidad del Norte

Donation made by Madero Law to provide financial support to students from the Caribbean region during their professional internships and ad honorem judicial clerkships in national public entities, facilitating their entry into the job market and promoting Caribbean leadership.

Corporate Donation to Aspen Institute Colombia

A contribution made by Madero Law as part of the Leading Colombia program, an initiative of the Aspen Institute Colombia, COLFUTURO, and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. This program brings together leaders from various disciplines to promote collaboration and action in addressing the country’s major challenges.

Member of the Legal Committee.
The Legal Committee is a consultative body whose main function is to support the Board of Directors by addressing inquiries and formulating recommendations.

MIT Harvard Club Colombia

Member of the Board of Directors.
A community of MIT and Harvard alumni and students that brings leaders together to foster innovation, education, public policy analysis, and collaborative solutions to society’s greatest challenges.

Aspen Institute Colombia

Leading Colombia Program - Fellow
Aspen Institute Colombia fosters ethical leadership and constructive dialogue to address the country’s most pressing challenges. As part of the global Aspen Institute, it brings together leaders from diverse sectors to promote collaboration and collective action.

Barranquilla Cómo Vamos

Member of the Board of Directors until September 2025.
A program that assesses urban quality of life through technical indicators and citizen perception surveys. It is part of the Red de Ciudades Cómo Vamos and generates key information to strengthen public management and promote more sustainable territories.

Citizen Security Observatory

Member of the Board of Directors until September 2025.
An independent think tank that analyzes data on crime and violence in Barranquilla to support public policy development. Its main partners include the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce, Fundesarrollo, Universidad del Norte, and AmCham Colombia.

Foundation for the Development of the Caribbean – FUNDESARROLLO

Member of the Board of Directors until 2021.
An independent think tank that promotes the economic and social development of the Colombian Caribbean. It researches issues such as poverty, employment, education, and health. Its partners include Promigas, Fundación Santo Domingo, Gases del Caribe, and the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce.

Instituto Colombiano de Derecho Procesal – ICDP

Our Founding Partner is the President of the Atlantic Chapter.
An academic and technical institution that promotes the study, development, and advancement of procedural law in Colombia. It brings together jurists, scholars, judges, and litigators committed to strengthening the administration of justice in the country.
